Landing into Kathmandu airport where the team from Climbing Mountains pick you up. They will facilitate a quick and hassle-free hotel transfer, check-in and resting for the adventure ahead.
That evening we will welcome and introduce the guides for your expedition, dinner at the hotel.

This is the day that is fully dedicated to your preparation for the long expedition of Lobuche Peak.
An expedition briefing will occur to discuss all aspects of the itinerary (Q&A); we will also meet the additional trekking and mountaineering guides and spend time together throughout the day.
Your personal guide will provide clear information about the required climbing gear for the Lobuche Peak and after the meeting, we will wander around Kathmandu (guided) buying any necessary things before our flights to Lukla the very next day.

And the day has come to head towards the home of Lobuche Peak, Khumbu (Everest) region. For that, you will hop into aircraft which will take just 40 minutes to drop you in the Lukla. The air time will be quite scenic where you find the entire Himalayas just out of the plain window. Your entry to the gateway of Everest will be welcomed by the locals of Lukla at Tenzing Hillary Airport(2800m).
After the quick welcome rest at Lukla, you will now head out into the woods to reach Phakding. You will head side by side of Dudh(Milk) Koshi River after passing through several settlements. Ghat(Bank) of Dudh Koshi river has a nicely painted Mani wall, you will pass through it and a forest of rhododendrons and pines. From the riverbed of Dudh Koshi, there are few uphills and downhills to reach Phakding.

Your first day has gone well and it is now time for another similar trekking day. On this day, you will stretch out to reach the hub of the Everest region, Namche Bazaar(3446m). While trekking today, you will cross many suspension bridges colored with prayer flags and gompas. After leaving Phakding behind, you will sail ahead via scenic trails of the Everest region. The trekking will become more and more fun with every step ahead. On the way today, you will pass major Sherpa settlements like Bengar, Monjo. Monjo village is the entrance to a UNESCO world heritage site, Sagarmatha National Park.
Still a few km to reach Namche, you will receive glimpses of Mt Everest, Lhotse, and other high peaks of the Khumbu region. Moving forward through several ups and downs then comes the final ascent to reach Namche Bazaar. As you may know, Namche is the most happening place in the entire Khumbu region. Arrive there and explore the town.

Heading straight to the higher areas without acclimating your body to new heights raises the chances of altitude sickness. So, it is better to stay around Namche before heading higher towards the Lobuche Peak. On this day, you will involve yourself in hiking around Namche and near attractions. Namche Bazaar in itself is a big market with many shops, restaurants, cafes, and some museums to explore.
There is one more option to do while your body starts acclimatizing, a hike to the Everest View Hotel. This hotel is one of the highest placed hotels in the world which sits at an altitude of 3,880m. As its name suggests, this hotel will serve an exquisite view of Mt Everest and some other peaks while you enjoy your lunch. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge of Namche for a night stay.

After a wonderful time around Namche, it is time to leave it behind to reach Tengboche. You will start the trek by descending through Namche towards Ohunki. All over the route, you will be rewarded with white mountain views including Everest and Ama Dablam. You will reach Phunki Tenga after some hours of easy downhill trekking. Then after trekking for some more hours, you’ll start to see the largest monastery of the region, Tengboche Monastery.
This monastery offers a blessing to every adventurer that walks through Tengboche’s trail. Decorated with many colorful flags and prayer wheels from outside, this monastery hosts awesome views of mountains in the north. Everest, Lobuche, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and many other peaks are glanceable in one sight from here. Not only that, but you can also celebrate a time of being at one of the largest Sherpa settlements.

You’ll wake up with morning prayers of the Tengboche monastery and what a blissful morning that will be. After breakfast, you will kick-off the trails to reach Dingboche. The trek will be through lush trees of rhododendron and conifers along with mountain views at distant. Following the forest, you will descend to reach the riverbed of Imja Khola.
And trekking over the Imja Khola via a bridge, you head up a slope trail that takes you to the Pangboche. You will take a break to explore the Pangboche village which also has a famous Pangboche Monastery. From the village, you will get visions of various Everest region mountains. After that, you move forward to Dingboche through Imja valley near to Lobuche River. Heading up from the riverbank arrives Dingboche

A day of rest is well-deserved. So instead of hiking the trail, we’ll stay back at the village and relax. To make the day productive and acclimatize, we’ll go on a trip to Nagarjun.
The whole idea of acclimatization is to walk higher and sleep lower. So after having breakfast, we’ll leave for the trek to Nagarjuna Peak. To start, we’ll ascend steep hills with rocks and boulders which makes the trek a bit difficult.
After hiking for a good 2-3 hours, we’ll finally get to Nagarjun, one of the major tourist attractions in the Sherpa Valley. It comes with a magnificent view of lofty mountains, steep-sided valleys, and rocky hills. Down the peak is a small settlement, mostly lodges and guest houses to accommodate hikers.
We’ll get back to the trail and walk the way down to the village. On the way back, we can see lots of ancient Tibetan monasteries and Chortens, which look stunning. Overnight stay in the tea house.

You’ll start the 8th day’s trek of the Lobuche Peak Climbing with a plan to reach Lobuche before nightfall. Now altitudes have reached around 5,000m and this part of trekking can be a bit more difficult than the past ones. You will move through a rough and steep trail to arrive at Duglha. One more steep climb takes you towards Chuki Lahara.
Then from Lahara, you will enjoy walking forward by memorial stupas for the lost ones. Now it will be a walk over the moraines of Khumbu Glacier to make it to Lobuche village. This village is the nearest settlement to Lobuche peak and from there you can take a look at various high peaks including Lobuche peak.
Kala Patthar Altitude:Â 5,644 meters
Lobuche East Base Camp Altitude:Â 4,950 meters
Walking hours:Â 6-7 hrs
This is the day when you actually head towards Lobuche Peak, we hike up to Kalapatthar 5555m; twos hours and best view of Mt. Everest, Lotse and Noptse.
After coming down from Kalapathar the Gorakshep-Lobuche Base Camp trail is a steep and rough track to walk over. You’ll push yourself following the footsteps of your guide. Then mid-way, you will see the glacier made from Lobuche Peak with bright mountain views above the glacier ground.
After trekking for Base camp for 5 to 6 hours from Gorakshep, you finally reach Lobuche Base Camp. There are no teahouses onwards from the Lobuche village so it is time to set up a tent. Your assisting companions will do that for you and it will be the first night of some more billion stars roofed night.
Maximum Altitude:Â EBC 5300 MTRS.

After breakfast, our journey continues following flat meadows. Shortly after, we head northward following Khumbu Glacier. Climbing onto the lateral moraine, we land Gorak Shep. On the way, we get panoramic views of snow-clad peaks and Khumbu Glacier itself.
We get our lunch. Subsequently, we head towards Everest Base Camp leaving our backpack there. Â Gradually walking upward via moraine of Khumbu Glacier, we reach our most awaited destination-EBC.
One shall get the vivid panoramic views of mount Khumbuste, mount Pumori and mount Nuptse keeping Mt. Everest in the background. Â Standing here trekkers get the mixed sensation of shifting emotions that a dream has come true with the mesmerizing view of Khumbu Icefall, we capture some charming views around. Spending some time on the base of the tallest peak of the world, we get back to Gorak Shep.

You will move one more step closer to the Lobuche summit by leaving for Lobuche High Camp from the Base Camp. While trekking on you will feel a change in the trails’ nature as they will have now become steeper and rougher. The trek duration is low around 3 to 4 hours but the slope is the thing that will make it long. Your team members will install a tent where you can take rest.
Later around the afternoon, your climbing guide will present some climbing skills and gear usage tips, tricks. This is all for making you competitive for the big day tomorrow, Lobuche Peak Climbing. After that, you will have enough sleep after lunch as you have to start early in the morning.

The sole goal of climbing Lobuche Peak will get accomplished today. Your breakfast will be ready quicker than before as you have to start the climb early. You will approach the southern ridge through steep and ice tracks. The ropes, crampons, and ice-axes will finally come to usage. With the assistance of your guide, you will head upward on the technical parts of Lobuche Peak. After climbing the last part i.e. 45 degrees sloped hill, you will be at the summit point of Lobuche East.
Your heart will pump out with the joy of climb success. Your celebration will become more happening with the wide panorama of the Everest region. The whole Everest region is viewable from the summit of Lobuche peak, and that eyeshot will make you realize more the trip is worth every pain. After a glorious time of your life at the Lobuche summit, you will descend towards the high camp of this peak. We will trek Phiriche  and we see the condition of our body,

Following the way, we ascent earlier, we head back to Jorsalle, Manjo, Benkar, Phakding, and finally to Lukla.
we cross many suspension villages, rocky trails, and diverse terrains. Sharing our experiences of the journey, we reach Lukla. After hotel check-in, our leader processes for flight. We relax our bodies with some refreshment drinks. Enjoy the last night in the lap of the Himalaya.

Now, you will retrace your way back to Phakding  and it will take around 4 to 5 hours to reach there. Today’s trail will be via the riverbank of Imja Khola which makes you enter Imja Valley. We will pass through  Namche.

The trek continues after the first meal at Namche Bazaar. Following the way, we ascent earlier, we head back to Jorsalle, Manjo, Benkar, Phakding, and finally to Lukla.

You will head into the early flight to Kathmandu after breakfast. It will take around 40 minutes to land in Kathmandu. But before you land, take a look outside through your plain windows to see great mountains of Nepal for the last time until your next trip.
