Catholic Jubilee Tour 2025
Precisely curated multiday Christian faith-based tour in Rome.
Come and witness the 2025 Jubilee Year of the Catholic Church in Rome with us for a journey of a lifetime. The 27th Jubilee Year in 2025, which only happens once every 25 years, is expected to be a moment of grace for thousands of pilgrims and the faithful worldwide. The celebration this year is called "Pilgrims of Hope" by Pope Francis in honor of peace, hope, and love. Take a trip to some of the most famous and inspirational holy places on earth for an unforgettable experience.
ITINERARY

Arriving in Rome, Italy on Day 1
On this historic occasion of Holy Week, welcome to Italy! After checking into your hotel, you are free to explore on your own for the rest of the day. Meet your tour director and traveling companions this afternoon, get ready for your upcoming spiritual adventure, and then participate in a welcome meal at a nearby restaurant.

Day 2: Rome
Celebrate Mass [M] in the Church of the Holy Spirit in Sassia this morning. If space permits, stroll to St. Peter's Square to see the Papal Angelus Sunday prayer. The Pope gives a speech in Italian before bestowing the papal benediction at the conclusion of his speech. Visit the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, one of Rome's four principal Papal basilicas, and the resting site of St. Paul the Apostle, later with a local guide. Finally, but just as importantly, spend some time in prayer in the Basilica of St. Sebastian Outside the Walls, which bears the name of the soldier who was killed during Diocletian's reign. You will be shown the neighboring Catacombs by a Local Guide, which attests to the Christian faith's beginnings.

Day 3: ROME AND CASTEL GANDOLFO EXCURSION
Today offers a distinct and very unique experience. On the included trip to Castel Gandolfo, we visit a charming town outside of Rome in the hills with a local guide. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to explore the chambers that several popes have occupied throughout the years by visiting the Papal Summer Residence. Savor the chance to think and practice meditation in the peaceful, serene settings of the exquisitely landscaped gardens. Take advantage of Rome's free time in the afternoon.
Distance traveled today: 50 mi / 80 km

Day 4: Rome
Take the optional day trip to Assisi, the hometown of Saint Francis, the patron saint of Italy. Attend Mass at St. Francis Basilica, which is well-known for its Giotto frescoes from the fourteenth century that portray St. Francis's life. Visit the Upper and Lower Basilicas of St. Francis as well as other important locations in St. Francis's life after meeting your local guide. Alternatively, take the day off and explore Rome.

Day 5: ROME
Get ready for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to interact with the Pope and get his blessing at the Papal Audience in Vatican City this morning, if space permits. Join a local guide for a tour to Jerusalem's Basilica of the Holy Cross in the afternoon. Constantine's mother Helen made the decision to convert a portion of her Roman home into a chapel for the Holy Cross relics, which she had discovered at the Calvary while on a visit to the Holy Land in 325, when Constantine relocated the seat of the Roman empire to Constantinople (now Istanbul). The old chapel served as the foundation for the subsequent Basilica. Visit the Basilica of St. Lawrence Outside the Walls to round up the day.

Day 6 ROME

Today is dedicated to two major Papal Basilicas: the impressive Basilica of St. John Lateran, and the magnificent St. Mary Major Basilica where you will celebrate Mass. Additionally, experience the Holy Stairs (Scala Sancta), transported from Jerusalem to Rome around 326 AD. These 28 marble steps are traditionally ascended in a kneeling position with a prayer recital dedicated to Jesus Christ. Tonight, toast to the Jubilee experience with your touring companions during the farewell dinner.
